The ESC Heart Failure Congress in Belgrade this year was a truly special event for all of us at SCIRENT. Not only because it is one of the most important international gatherings in our field, but also because it was hosted in our hometown – Belgrade. With one of our headquarters based here, it felt like welcoming the global cardiovascular community into our own backyard.
This made the congress a unique opportunity for us. We had many colleagues from Serbia, Germany and across Europe traveling to Belgrade for the event. It was a fantastic few days filled with high-level scientific exchange, great conversations, and memorable moments with partners and friends from around the world.
A Chance to Showcase Local Clinical Expertise
Being based in Belgrade allowed us to go beyond the conference halls and give our partners a deeper look at the local clinical landscape. We organized visits to several leading cardiovascular centers in the city. This gave our partners the chance to see firsthand the high standards of clinical research conducted here and the impressive capabilities of these facilities. Many of our visitors left with a much stronger appreciation for the quality of work being done in Serbia in cardiovascular medicine and clinical trials.
Strong Presence in the Scientific Program
This was also a very active congress for SCIRENT in terms of scientific contributions. We were involved in several clinical trials that were featured in poster presentations and discussed in sessions during the congress. It was extremely rewarding to see the hard work of our teams and collaborators highlighted on the international stage.
A Hub for Global Connections
Our booth was a vibrant hub of activity throughout the congress. We were honored to host key opinion leaders and partners from Europe, the US, and many other regions. These in-person exchanges are invaluable – not just for advancing projects and ideas but also for building the relationships that drive long-term collaboration.
We also took the opportunity to record some of these moments on video. Have a look to get a glimpse of the conversations and impressions that made ESC Heart Failure 2025 such a standout event for us.
In Summary
ESC Heart Failure in Belgrade was more than just a conference for SCIRENT this year – it was a homecoming and a celebration of our local and global community. We are grateful to everyone who joined us, whether in the conference sessions, during the site visits, or at our booth. We look forward to continuing the great conversations and collaborations that started here.
